Jon takes Kate Gosselin to court over 'Dancing With the Stars'
Well, Jon Gosselin has to find some way to make some money post-15 minutes of fame, right? Looks like Kate Gosselin's presence on "Dancing With the Stars" is the easy meal ticket.Jon believes that all the time Kate is spending away from their brood of eight is damaging the kids. Now he wants primary custody and spousal support from his dancing ex.
So now Jon is taking Kate to court with the help of former federal prosecutor Anthony F. List. List tells TMZ that Kate is "an absentee mom," adding that's no surprise to anyone.
Jon's lawyer expects to use Kate's "DWTS" stint as proof that she doesn't spend "quality time with the eight kids." Kate can counter that with the fact that the show actually allowed her to set up a dance studio in her own basement in her Pennsylvania home.
But Jon's not stopping there. He calls their current agreement to pay $20,000 a month in child support "ridiculous," and List says he might ask the judge to reverse the support obligation -- which would leave Kate paying Jon.
Kate's attorney, Mark Momijan has responded to Jon's claims in a statement to Radar Online, saying, "We haven't received any formal filing yet but I can't imagine anything farther from the truth. Kate is a devoted mother. Her concern for the welfare of her kids is so prominent that any allegations like this report are reckless and so far from the mark, it's offensive."
Hey, Jon, here's our two cents worth: At least Kate is out making some money for your kids. What have you been up to lately, besides cooking up ways to milk money out of your ex?

I'm on Team Kids. Take them out of the spotlight, or away from their media-hogging parents. No kids deserve that kind of childhood.
Kate is always the one looking for a meal ticket, or 'freebies'. She treated Jon like crap. Hope she is soon off DWTS, as she looks like a cheap hooker, and can't dance!
Jon is so rotten! I'm siding with Kate on this. She is 8 kids to take care of and put through college. She might as well make money while she can and stash it away because Jon sure isn't going to contribute. At least with DWTS, the kids aren't in the spotlight. As for her trips to LA for DWTS, a ton of parents have to travel for work, so why not Kate, too? Doesn't make those breadwinners bad parents.
They both exploited the kids when they agreed to do the ridiculous reality show in the first place. They're famous because they have kids? Not ok. Especially not them. Nobody's right in this and they're both money hungry, greedy, stupid, uncaring...people.
She is doing what every other celebrity is doing going away for months and leaving them with nannies Whats the difference? Kate is trying to make money just like anyone else. What is Jon doing to support his kids? if anything he spends it as fast as he makes it. This is getting ridiculous.
Personally, I don't care for either one of them, but Jon is definitely in the wrong on this one.
I could not care less about either of these two people. jon is wrong on the issue and he just wants more money he can spend. He wouldnt spend any of the money recieved on the kids anyone, just himself and his hookers
How is JON going to provide for them AND be home with them?
Does he want to go on welfare?
One parent has to work and if it's Kate sobe it.
Are you kidding me? Jon doesn't give a rats behind about those kids! All he see's is dollar signs. All of you who want to condemn Kate for "looking for a meal ticket" I believe you are jealous. How many people would have the courage to go for what they truly want? I'm not a huge fan of her, I do think she talked to Jon like he was a piece of garbage and no human being deserves that, but I will never begrudge her for going after any opportunity that she has. Many people would kill to be able to do what she has been doing - really, give me a break.
Aww, poor Jon! No one's come and asked him to be on a reality show....isn't that a shame. Why don't you get a real job to show that you can actually support your kids. Be happy for the eight little blessing you do have and stop whining!!
