Jon and Kate Gosselin's kids guaranteed some money before it's all gone
Turns out "Jon & Kate Plus 8" big wigs won't get a legal slap on the wrist after an investigation into how the show treated Jon and Kate Gosselin's eight kids.But according to TMZ, they're still getting hit where it hurts -- their pocketbooks.
Documents just released to the public show that The Bureaus of Labor Law compliance never got evidence proving the kid's rights were abused.
However, the show must put away "at least 15 % of the gross proceeds of this show and future shows" that will be put into a trust until they turn 18.
So at least these poor kids will get some money in the bank while their parents continue to blow their own dough on lawyers.

You know, she keeps saying "I've had 8 kids" in interviews.

Why only 15%? the kids were 80% of the show and w/o the kids, no one would have known Jon or Kate. They both had a ride off the kids' backs. If all they got was 15%, the kids were robbed.
The kids shouldn't have to pay for their own upkeep. It's a parent's responsibility to support their children not for the children to support the parents.
They are both wrong, but Kate is the mastermind. She is evil by trying to wring all of Jon's money from him.
They should both be responsible for support and she should leave Jon some discretionary income to spend on the kids. If she doesn't, the kids will think that she loves them more than he does but isn't that what her strategy is?
Parents are vblowing all the money around and the kids end up being the ones who suffer. These are model parents? They should be jailed for the way they're manhandling their kids in order to increase the parents' fame. Thank goodness the kids will get something.
