Jennifer Lopez's new album 'Love?': No duets, maybe a song for her babies

back-up-plan-poster-1.jpgJennifer Lopez talked to The Dish Rag about her upcoming new album, while in Los Angeles promoting her new romantic comedy, "The Back-Up Plan."

She reveals why she named the album  "Love?"  -- with a question mark -- because "it's a subject that is endlessly fascinating and still very confusing to me."

She's aiming for a summer release. "I recently parted ways with my old record company and we have a new one. They've heard it and everyone is happy with it."

She is also creating some new material , as well as including the two songs she sang on "Saturday Night Live,"  "Starting Over" and "Until It Beats No More." The styles are the same (hip hop, dance, street, R&B)  that she has always loved, with, she says, some ballads and mid-tempos.

She's even written a song about her new twin babies. "But I don't know if i will put it on the album."

Also on her to-do list: A new Spanish album that she will start as soon as she finishes "Love?," to be released next year.

Meanwhile, Marc Anthony just finished sequencing his album called "Iconos," which is Spanish for Icons, that, according to Lopez, features "nine of the most beautiful ballads that were ever sung."

No more duets? "We had our moment 3 or 4 years when we did everything together... and that was a beautiful time but i think we both kind of subconsciously decided to go off and do our own thing."
