Is Jennifer Lopez's 'Glee' back-up plan still on?
"Glee" fans, rejoice. If you also happen to be a Jennifer Lopez fan, that is. If not, The Dish Rag is sorry in advance. Word is that "The Back-Up Plan" star is still hoping (maybe even praying) for a guest role on the hit FOX show, especially after her latest rom-com tanked big time on its opening day.
She told Ellen DeGeneres Friday (Apr. 23) on her talk show, "I sat down with [show creator] Ryan Murphy and we talked about me doing something on "Glee." We want to. We want to do it."
As for timing: "They have it all mapped out for the next like eight episodes," she says, "whatever is airing right now. So he's like let's wait and do it really right when you do come on."
Murphy has said he wants Lopez to play a cafeteria lady at McKinley High who gets glammed up by Chris Colfer's character Kurt Hummel.
Lopez added, "I was like, 'Yeah, yeah whatever. I'm a huge fan. Whenever you want. I'm good. I kind of offered myself up."
Wonder if they'll still want her after her CBS film "The Back-Up Plan" bombed. According to Deadline Hollywood, "Everyone knew Jennifer Lopez can't open a movie anymore, except Les Moonves," also pointing out that Jennifer "can't even keep a record label." Ouch.
What La Lopez songs would you like to see on "Glee?" Sorry, we got nothing.

The same critics that luvvveedd Lopez in the past don't like her anymore cause dare I say she doesn't do movies with "progressive" messages for the liberal critics to slobber over.
These same people know the release has a lot do with a movies success.
Last two weeks of April right after Spring Break are slow.
Moviegoers are out of money.
Place the same movies during a four day weekend or christmas and anything will be a moneymaker for the studios no matter what the critics say.
You must not seen the same movie that I saw! I loved Jennifer and even more, her co-star Alex O'Loughlin. The movie was awesome and I plan to see it again and again. There is great chemistry between the two actors and the story is sweet, funny. I LOVE THE MOVIE!!!
Loved it too.
