'Iron Man 2' Robert Downey Jr. kisses Gwyneth Paltrow: 'She still thinks about it'

Gwyneth Paltrow's character, Pepper Potts finally get to kiss Tony Sparks/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) in the new "Iron Man 2."

And according to Downey, it was quite the kiss.

"I couldn't get her off me," Downey Jr. said at the Apr. 23 press conference at the Four Seasons, adding, "It was embarrassing."

Paltrow burst out laughing and pointed out that that her husband, musician Chris Martin and Downey's wife Susan -- also a producer on the film -- "were right there" during the scene.

Downey then explained Paltrow tried to make him doubt his manhood. "She said I didn't know what I was doing. Like it didn't feel good."

He added that he didn't want to seduce her. "What would have been creepy was if I was coming off all sexy to you -- I've done that before in movies and it creeps them out."

Despite her critique, Downey says she's smitten. "Despite what she said on set, she still thinks about it."
