Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller: 'living apart but not divorcing'

Is the Charlie Sheen/Brooke Mueller marriage finally over? Not so fast.

Conflicting reports are surfacing all over the web over the status of Sheen and Mueller's relationship.

People says Sheen and Mueller are living apart, according to multiple sources close to the couple. And Access Hollywood reports that the couple has finally called it quits after two years of marriage, two 1-year-old sons, one wild Christmas morning and four months of tabloid headlines about violence, sex, crack, booze, rehabs and multiple high-priced escorts.

But there's been no statement released from Charlie's pub, Stan Rosenfield yet. So until then, we're disbelievers.

And The Dish Rag's inside source, who wishes to be identified as a "source close to the family," tells us Saturday (Apr. 24):  "There have been many erroneous reports. Charlie and Brooke are living apart but they are still trying to work out their problems. They have not split up and are not ending their marriage."

All we know is we love "Two and a Half Men" and hope Charlie gets his life straightened out and goes back on the show.  And if you do get divorced, Charlie, this time stay single.
