Barbara Walters, David Letterman fear talking to 'Oprah' bio's Kitty Kelley

Matt Lauer sat down to chat with "Oprah: A Biography" writer Kitty Kelley on "Today" Monday morning (April 12). According to Kelley, Barbara Walters, Larry King, Rachel Ray, Charlie Rose and David Letterman will not be extending her the same invitation.
"This book is like high definition television," Kelley tells Lauer. "[Oprah fans] know the story, the outlines of the story, but this gives them greater detail, more understanding."
And it's that "greater detail" (like the Oprah-John Tesh live-in romance) that Kelley explains has made media folks like Walters and King hesitant to interview her -- for fear of the possible backlash from the all-powerful Oprah.
Letterman's response to her publisher's request to come on his show was that he didn't want to "disrupt" his recently mended relationship with the talk show queen.
