Arrest for ex-'Survivor' producer's wife's murder imminent
An arrest for the murder of former "Survivor" producer Bruce Beresford-Redman's wife, Monica Beresford-Redman, could happen Friday (April 30) or by the following Monday, reports KTLA.So far, the producer is the only suspect named in the case. It's believed that he strangled his wife in their Moon Palace Hotel room in Cancun and then disposed of her body in a septic tank.
Here's a rundown of the timeline of events:
- April 5 - Investigators believe Monica Beresford-Redman died some time in Cancun. A guest at the hotel reported hearing commotion -- screams and furniture being thrown -- from the couple's hotel room. When a call was made to the room, a man answered and said "everything was fine."
- April 6 - Bruce Beresford-Redmond reported his wife missing, saying she had gone shopping alone the day before, although there were no records of her leaving the hotel grounds.
- April 8 - On what would have been Monica's 42nd birthday, her naked body was found when it floated to the surface of a septic tank at the hotel
- April 28 - The body arrived in Los Angeles and has been in a holding facility for her family to have additional tests run.
Bruce Beresford-Redmond is still in Mexico and has yet to be charged.

This arrest has been "imminent" for three weeks now. Maybe they don't have anything. Maybe they should be looking elsewhere.
Elsewhere? Are you serious?
It sounds to me like this producer Bruce killed his wife and dumped her in the septic tank. The wife Monica and her family deserve justice and I hope that this man is arrested soon.
Hey Anon,
Why are you so invested in this man being guilty? All I'm saying is, if they have the goods on this guy, why don't they drop the hammer?
I am as invested in this guy being guilty as much as I was in OJ being guilty which is not very much... facts are facts. I work in reality tv and know a bit more about the situation. I can think of numerous reasons why they haven't pulled the trigger. Most of them political and unfortunate. We are talking about a fledgling criminal justice system and a very high profile case.
I guess professor plum could have done it in the study with the candlestick but it's highly doubtful...I mean really....
I agree. Facts are are facts and the fact is it's May 15 and he hasn't been charged yet.
That is the most unfortunate fact, isn't it?
