Vogue: Gisele Bundchen's post-baby body graces Shape Issue

giselebaby.jpgAt this point, is anybody really surprised that Gisele Bündchen's figure bounced right back into shape only six weeks after giving birth? She shows off her post-baby body on the cover of April's Shape Issue of Vogue.

The article features photos of Gisele with her baby, Benjamin Rein Brady.  Apparently, the baby's name was almost River, because Gisele "wanted something always flowing, immortal." Her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, vetoed that idea, and they settled on "Rein," a tribute to Gisele's father, Reinoldo.

Also included in the spread are photos of a very pregnant Gisele before Benjamin was born.  Though there are plenty of paparazzi photos of Gisele's baby bump, she wasn't doing many photoshoots at the time. "I felt like my pregnancy was a sacred moment for me," she told the magazine.  "I didn't work apart from the contracts I have, and then I only let them use my face."

Check out the feature for details on the Brady family's Boston loft apartment, how Gisele stayed in shape during her pregnancy, and her work to empower young girls in Boston with a nine-week self-esteem building program.
