'Twilight's Kristen Stewart makes out with Dakota Fanning in 'The Runaways'

While doing press for their new film "The Runaways," Kristen Stewart talked about her brief love scene with Dakota Fanning.

Asked about the intimate moment between Kristen's Joan Jett character and Dakota's character, Cherie Curry, she dismissed it as "just another thing."

"It was cool. I didn't mind it. The way it happens in the script, it's just a moment in time and it's natural and impulsive... They're just best friends and it was that time. Doing it was just another thing."

Pressed on who was the better kisser, her "Yellow Handkerchief" costar Eddie Redmayne, "Twilight" costar Robert Pattinson or Dakota Fanning, she stammered, "I mean, like, I, yeah, I don't know ... How do you answer that?"

Joan Jett has an amusing take on that scene. "Do I think the sexuality in the film, the relationship with Cheri is accurate? You know, it's too much of a loaded question. I think things happened, people experiment, it's no big deal. Teenagers did it before me, during me and after me. There's a lot of focus on it and I do understand why but if it was accurate it (the film) would have a lot heavier rating."

"Runaways" is rated R.

Dakota, on the other hand, was very excited to talk about her sexy "Cherry Bomb" stage performance wearing lingerie and high heels.

"I was a little nervous right before the take started but I had been looking forward to it the whole time," she enthused. "It was the second to the last day of shooting. I was really into it."

Seeing Cheri sing "Cherry Bomb" on YouTube was part of why she wanted to do the movie.

And while she was thrilled to keep her "Runaways" retro '70s wardrobe, it was the "Cherry Bomb" lingerie she really loved taking home. "That was the most exciting!"
