'Twilight: New Moon' director Chris Weitz: 'I'm basically a big, fat liar'

There are no deleted scenes on the "Twilight: New Moon" DVD, as director Chris Weitz had promised earlier.He tells NBC New York's Popcorn Biz, "I'm basically a big, fat liar. I put it out there that there are deleted scenes, but I just realized there aren't. It was an honest mistake."
Weitz also told Popcorn Biz that he's most excited about a deleted scene featuring Rachelle Lefevre's Victoria "on her way to Forks, just generally being a bad a** and killing the passenger of a very fast car."
Sounds awesome! Guess we'll have to buy two copies of "New Moon." That ought to tide us over until the release of "Twilight: Eclipse" on June 30, 2010. Also, you can check out a couple "New Moon" deleted scenes on YouTube.

The target editions exclusively have deleted scenes.
I hate it when they do all these different extras at every different retailer. It's such a shameless money grab. I fell for it with 'Twilight' but I won't be duped again for 'New Moon.' I bought the standard 2 Disc Edition and that's it.
Personally, I won't be buying 2 copies. Eagle's right on this one.
That's why you look in the Sunday ads first and see who has the better exclusives. :)

i live in canada and i recently got the new moon 2 disc speacial edition. for the twilight i only got the standard single one. i wish i had got the 2 disc for twilight but...hey! ive already watched them online. for the new moon i will not be buying a sceond copy. thats a stupid marketing prank. y do u need 2 copies?
