'Sex and the City 2': John Corbett really isn't in the sequel

Despite a report from EW that John Corbett was featured in the "Sex and the City 2" trailer screened at ShoWest last weekend, Corbett insists that his character, Carrie Bradshaw's ex Aiden, will not be featured in the flick.

Corbett told Movieline that he is "one hundred percent" not going to surprise anyone on screen in the much-anticipated sequel.  "When did that come out? Recently? Yeah, if you go online you'll see that they've been saying that for months and months. They have a picture of me from Istanbul years ago and they just say that I was in Morocco shooting the sequel so I don't know who is blowing that stuff up."

If you're bummed that you won't be seeing Aiden when "Sex and the City" hits theaters on May 27, don't miss him as the most patient and understanding husband ever in Showtime's "United States of Tara," which returned this week for season 2.
