Rielle Hunter tells GQ: John Edwards' hot sex, Elizabeth Edwards' wrath
Rielle Hunter is opening up -- so to speak -- to GQ about her affair with former vice presidential candidate John (she calls him Johnny) Edwards, a relationship that destroyed his political career and his marriage. On their chemistry: "I had never experienced anything like what was flowing between us. I sat on the other side of the room. I wouldn't go near him ... There was sooo much attraction and sooo much...I want to say love, but it wasn't love at that point ... it was just this, this magnetic force field like I had never experienced. It terrified me."
On his infidelity: "First of all, infidelity doesn't happen in healthy marriages. The break in the marriage happens before the infidelity. And that break happened, you know, two and a half decades before I got there. So the home was wrecked already. I was not the Home Wrecker."
On the wrath of Elizabeth: "I believe what happened in his marriage is, he could not go to his wife and say, 'We have an issue.' Because he would be pummeled ... Most of his mistakes or errors in judgment were because of his fear of the wrath of Elizabeth."
On the hush money: "Johnny had no idea what he (his aide) was up to, nor did he ask him to do it. The dynamic was: Andrew always taking care of things without telling Johnny or anyone else what he was doing, and claiming he was doing it 'On the senator's behalf.'"
On their first night: "We had an extraordinary night, and I did know that this was unlike anything either of us had ever experienced. And as we have all learned, that was accurate! He in fact did say to me the first night, 'Falling in love with you could really f*** up my plans for becoming President.'"

Reading some of those quotes just confirms that John Edwards and Rielle Hunter are both pigs and truly deserving of each other.
She is a gold-digger. I do not buy one word that she says. Shame on her for destroying his family. What a zero class woman to pose in those outfits.
What drivel. The world is falling apart and GQ prints this? Get real.
In those photos, Hunter looks much prettier than in the photos taken after the affair was publicized. I am with her that the Edwards' marriage was not intact when she arrived on the scened. We all remember how both the Edwards constantly talked about the son they had lost due to a car accident. In my view neither of John nor Elizabeth ever found peace after that tragic incident. In situations like this, the parents blame each other even though they were not involved. Had the Edwards tried to keep their son from going out that day/night? Did their son leave home in anger and rebellion? We don't know. However, I can assure you it had a big impact on both parents and they simply have never reconciled and accepted this tragic event. We don't know whether or not Hunter was the first "mistress" in all those years. As we all know, John Edwards was involved in the affair while running for President! He knows how to keep a "secret", the Inquirer just happened to be vigilant (they knew something had to be going on) and did some investigating of their own, and "Bingo" Edwards indeed was having an affair AND impregnated Hunter. They also caught him sneaking into Hunters hotel room and obviously spending time with her and the baby (although he denied being the daddy). So, of the two, I believe Edwards is the cheesier and most untruthful! As for Elizabeth, she is not clean on this; she stood by her man and lied, along with Edwards. I don't recall Hunter ever talking to the media about the affair during the campaign.
I think Hunter is nothing more than white home wrecker trailor trash. She deserves nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whether or not some one's marriage is having issues does not mean YOU have to involve YOURSELF in their drama, or involve YOUR BABY in their drama. Why should a child have this drama before they even come out of the womb? Because Rielle Hunter is selfish. She was unable to think through the consequences of her actions on other people.
Whatever she thinks of healthy marriages, she also has issues. Her actions demonstrate her to be an unhealthy non self assured woman.
Anyone with a conscience would not get involved with a known married man, and keep it going to join his "campaign" for President as a paid staff person, making sex videos and videos of even the wife who looks into the camera and tells the world about her cancer.
At some point..... Anypoint...Rielle Hunter had a choice to NOT go up to married men and tell them how hot they are, to not take a side in a marriage she was not a part of, to not have unprotected sex, to not film the sex, to not participate in a cover up. She had so many options to jump off the train before it crashed that I don't feel sorry for her. I don't care if she Looks like a ***** and she cried for 2 hours. As a videographer she should know....the camera doesn't lie.
You are correct in saying that she is a gold digger, but it takes to to tango. He is scum Too.

Reille Hunter is a selfish gold digger who sought long-term financial security. She gets what she sought.
John Edwards is a selfish narcisist who sought short-term gratification (sexual, power). He got it at great cost. But don't ever think his conscience will bother him for long, he's a narcisist remember.
Elizabeth Edwards was naive about her relationship with John. She ends up badly hurt and I feel very sorry for her.
she seems kinda NUTS.
