'Real Housewives' Bethenny Frankel marries today (but don't call her Mrs. Hoppy)
For "Real Housewives of New York City's" Bethenny Frankel, today (Sunday, March 28) is a big day: It's her wedding day!"We've been doing a countdown," Frankel tells Zap2it. "I'm really excited."
Frankel's wedding details have emerged over the past week. She and her fiance, pharmaceutical sales and real estate broker, Jason Hoppy are saying their "I do-s" at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City. The black tie event will be a "classic New York" affair with about 70 guests (and a camera crew for her upcoming Bravo show, "Bethenny's Getting Married").
Despite conflicting reports, Bethenny tells Zap2it that she always intended on marrying before having the baby, because "she didn't want to have a baby running around" the event. She also wanted to take a timely honeymoon, since she fears that a baby can complicate things.
Frankel also tells us she's going to keep it simple when it comes to her name.
"I think for work, I should probably keep my name," Frankel tells us. "I think I'll do it on legal paperwork hyphenated, then in regular life keep it. I wasn't particularly close to my father, so it's not like I have some affinity towards my own name. I'm 39 years old. It's not like I should be taking someone else's name and changing it around. It seems like when you're 25, you kind of do that."
Of Frankel's castmates, only Ramona Singer and Alex McCord will be attending the ceremony and reception. While McCord has been pretty tight-lipped about it, you can imagine that Singer has some classy things to say.
"I will definitely dance till my cooch falls off at Bethenny's wedding," Ramona tweets.
According to People Magazine, Frankel and Hoppy met at Tenjune Nightclub in November 2008 and eleven months later they were engaged. So, how does Hoppy feel about marrying a driven, career-minded person like Frankel?
"[Jason] is the most secure, confident person," Frankel tells us.

congrats, but i really think you will mess this up. no one can really put up with you and your wacked outlook on life. jason will tire of trying to pump you up emotionally and you definately will put off his family and friends. you can't help yourself, that is who you are. but the rest of the world should not have to forgive your "bad mouth". I do feel bad that you'll have a baby to teach how not to act. are you going to drag your newborn around to all the nightclubs, fashion shows book signing etc???
I love Betheny. She's smart, witty, honest and successful. She has it all and I wish her the best. I'm glad she put the other castmates in their place. Especially the idiot Kelly with her warped views on fur. How stupid can that girl be? Betheny definitely called that one!

Bethany! I like you from the very first season. I think its a shame that Jill has so much jealously and hatred inside of her for you. She really needs to stop it! As I watch the shows this season, her uglyiness is really starting to show. LuAnn, give me a break! I am sure I'm not alone in thinking this, but she really needs to stop talking about her marriage, or the lack there of, and get on with her life!!!! What's so sad to see is that now, she's the so-called "under dog" and Jill has found a new "underdog" in LuAnn. So sad! Jill is jealous, hateful, and she needs people to kiss her ***!!! Ramona is just Ramona! Thank god she did not invite them to the wedding because lulu and jill would have made it all about them then would've went straight to the press with rumors that were made up in their head to make Beth the bad guy! Jill wake up and smell the coffee Beth was your one and only true friend and u r missing out and I might add lost alot of your fans because of it. Hate Bethenny! Anyone who looks up to her is truly an ignoramous...Bethenny is a dispicable, classless, disgusting, trashy, low-life. She's a user, a manipulater and couldn't give a crap about any of her fans, except of course, if they purchase her products. She's a talentless moron whose success is based soleley on the connections and help she receives from others. She is a spoiled, lying, thankless, selfish, phony, brat who grew up very privileged. She is already expoiting her unborn child for her financial gain, and I'm sure that's the main reason why her fiance is willing to marry her and put up with her nastiness...all for the sake of money and fame. How very sad. Most of her fans must have some kind of mean streak and low standards in them to favor such a loud-mouthed, unaplogetic Bi**h. Karma has a way of working itself out...I hope it bites her in her skinny a**! No congrats here!
