'Real Housewives' Bethenny Frankel: I didn't move my wedding for Bravo
The article states that Frankel moved her wedding date, so that it could be filmed by Bravo for "Real Housewives of New York City." Frankel says they have their shows mixed up.
"I find it so funny," Frankel tells Zap2it. "You don't have to be Angela Lansbury to figure out if my show is called 'Bethenny Getting Married,' that maybe there might be a wedding on the show. If it was called "Bethenny's Climbing a Mountain," hopefully I would arrange to be on a mountain."
The Bravo star adds, "The first wedding date that I had is the wedding date I have and Bravo will be shooting it. There's no hidden message."
The Page Six source claims Frankel knows she'll get more attention if "she's a heavily pregnant bride." According to the "real housewife," the only thing she's guilty of is lack of planning and that having the wedding while she was pregnant was a practical decision for her.
"I told [Bravo] I was going to have a wedding before the baby," she explains. "Because I don't want to have a wedding and have the baby running around. There's only a small window of time in which I can have a wedding before I have the baby in June. You can't travel after you're eight months pregnant, so I can't go on a honeymoon at some point. That's why it became a scramble and the invitations went out later and all that, because I didn't even think, 'Oh my God, we don't have any time.' "
While the Bravo star wouldn't tell us the exact day of her wedding, she says it's very soon. And despite what the Page Six article says, there will be some representation from her "Real Housewives" cast members.
"There will be housewives there," Frankel says. "Let's just say that. There will be a housewife present and they're really excited."
Which of the "Real Housewives" do you think will be at Bethenny's wedding?

Boy, Bethenny must think that people are such morons. Of course she is having a wedding to suit Bravo's schedule, that's pretty obvious to me. All she cares about in life is being greedy and the almighty dollar. She doesn't give a rats a*s about anyone of her fans unless they are making her a buck. I noticed that she pulls recipes off of the Internet and makes slight changes to them and claims that they are her own. She's got a big loud mouth and is quite manipulative! These type of people are ruining the younger generation!
Dina,
Do you know her personally? You sound a bit jealous that perhaps you didn't think of the ideas yourself.
She's a smart business woman. You should take a minute to google her wikipedia page to find out where she came from and how hard she worked to get where she is.
Maybe you need to spend less time bashing and working on your own success.
No, Jen, I don't know her personally, nor am I jealous, or wish to aspire to such crudeness, nastiness, and one-dimensional, shallow, self-centeredness. But for my PHD in Social Psychology I am writing a thesis on the disintegration and deterioration of American social morals, values and standards due in part to some of these trashy reality shows and their respective cast memebers; and find Bethenny Frankel and other cast members leading the pack in this disintegration, in addition to many other factors not disclosed here.
In regard to this, I do plenty of research online and by other means to emphasize why these reality shows assist in the ruination of society and the younger generation; young people who are impressionable and look up to these senseless women. Bethenny Frankel, in particular, may have grown up neglected and most likely from a dysfuctional home, but she was privileged and grew up with money and was and still is exposed to many connections that are not afforded to the average person. Don't let her fool you for one minute. She does have a big, witty, smartass mouth, but that doesn't mean I want my daughter taking any advice from this neurotic, self-absorbed woman who is very manipulative, controlling, and gets what she wants by being a user for one, in addition to being crass, rude and just utterly obnoxious. Someone like her should just live their life in private and not be overexposed.
As a result of my project, I enjoy posting comments on sites pertaining to trashy reality shows and their cast members because it is my right to do so and I like to express my opinion (which I am entitled to, btw), as negative as it usually is; so that I may vent my disapproval of these shows, and the people affiliated with them.
There are many underexposed, wonderfully successful women who are extremely intelligent, beautiful, kind, tactful, humble and gracious who became successful by really overcoming major, serious hardships and obstacles, and who are overshadowed as role models by some of the trash on tv, when they should be the ones looked up to and in the spotlight.
bethany GOOD FOR U!!! this is my very first blog.. but with everything going on u want ur man and a baby, the same thing i wanted 6 yrs ago and everythng workd out!! i love u speak ur mind!! i do the same, almost regaedlest of feelings..bcs adults gudge where children love with their hearts.. nothing u do could ever change how ur cjild feels for u!! dont ever let anyone tell u diff! if they do laugh in thr face!! u r the woman..the mother....and the language barrier people need!!
these NYC hw's are as mean & nasty a bunch as you'll ever see!! (except for Alex who doesn't seem that mean)
The real housewife will be Gretchen from OC!
This show is such a guilty pleasure for me. I think it is a mistake to see it as an accurate reflection of successful or admirable women. It's a tv show on Bravo, not the History Channel. This show is an escape from serious thought--what's wrong with that? If you get all worked up over these people whom I doubt you know personally, you need to add more fiber to your diet or have a stiff drink to kill the bug up your butt--chill out.
LOSER.
I am laughing at Dina's remark about "underexposed, wonderfully successful women who are extremely intelligent, beautiful, kind, tactful, humble and gracious who became successful by really overcoming major, serious hardships and obstacles, and who are overshadowed as role models" because I think she thinks she is describing herself.
I am laughing at Dina's comments too. Why is it necessary to mention that she is getting her PhD? Honestly, that doesn't mean you are smarter than anyone because you have the PhD. That kind of comment is one middle schoolers would make when trying to win an argument.
Anyways, I love Bethenny. This season she has become more spastic than passed seasons. I find it kind of sad b/c she was the "housewife" I related to the most. I really wish she and Jill would be able to patch things up. They were such a dynamic duo.
