Obama's health care speech: What'd you think?

GooglePresident Obama rolled up his sleeves -- literally -- and tried to move the health-care debate forward with a speech in Pennsylvania on Monday.
Our question to you is simple: What did you think of his effort?
In his Monday (March 8) speech at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pa., Obama offered up some harsh words for insurance companies and said that "It's time to make a decision" on the health-care reform bill in Congress.
Republican opposition to the bill remains resolute. "What the American people would like us to do is not make this gargantuan mistake," Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday.

73% of Americans DO NOT want the present health care reform bill passed. 52% of Americans DO NOT want reconciliation to be used to pass health care reform. Mr. Obama has stated pubicly on more than one occaision that reconciliation SHOULD NOT be used to pass health care reform. Does ANYONE believe what he says?? Despite his promises of hope and change, Barack Obama is nothing but a Chicago back room strong arm politician who cares more about HIS AGENDA than the wishes of American citizens.HE IS A FRAUD!!
The majority of Americans voted for President Obama and Healthcare. The conservatives who oppose it are bought and paid for by by the insurance companies. If you don't believe me just look at the insurance campaign donations made to people like McConnell, Grassley and lieberman.
Obamacare is a power grab.

NO, NO, NO to Obamacare and NO to this massive and absurd bill that eats up nearly 6 reams of paper! No one has read it; nobody really knows all that is in it. KILL this bill! The American people are overwhelming against this bill and we own the dome! Congressmen and Senators represent the American people and they need to do what we want or suffer the consequences!
I say No To this Healthcare Bill even though it was passed. I know there are people that aren't covered, but I believe that there is a better way to do this rather than have government controlled healthcare. If they atart at this when will they stop. I believe there are people out there that want total control of our country. This is against everything that our country was founded on.
What do you say to something that hasn't been read and offically printed for anyone to read,which most all of them admit that they haven't read it or understand it? that is over 2074 page and the congress doesn't know how to do Math and he has us paying for something that won't cover but 80% of the citizens,that it is full of mandates put there by lobbyists and speical interst groups and the fact that it for the frist time in the history of the USA is actually going to force a citizen to buy something he or she doesn't want and (B) can't afford?or the facts that the Government has the right to access your accounts and remove funds if you do not pay your new taxes,mentioned 125 times,Fines and or possible imprisonment if I don't buy?but I have to start paying now and in 4 years I will have insurance that will delayand even ration my treatment or in my case possible refusal to give me access to the treatment I want or "My doctor says I should have?
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHY I DON'T LIKE THIS GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER OF 1/6 OF THE ECONOMY THAT IT IS "UNCONTITUTITONAL TO FORCE ANYONE TO BUY ANYTHING FROM ANYONE AT THEIR PRICE THAT HAS BEEN DISQUISED AS "HEALTH CARE"?and all this is just the tip of the problem? Minus the 14 pages of "Table of contents?That still leaves 2058 that has kick backs,sweet heart deals.

When will the sheep stand up on just two feet and become human beings. Republicans and Tea Party people consistently lie to their supporters. Now that health care reform is LAW..., you'll find that this is another example. Just like the weapons of mass deception from Bush. When conservatives learn to tell the truth again, I'll start listening.
i think that it has the ups and downs. Yes it cost alot snd what he said about the insurents is so true but people can acually go to the hostiple now and not really have to pay. But yes i do think that he should have not started with the health care but to try and have people working so they can support there families that way have money to acually have the money to pay for halth care.
