Megan Fox turns down 'Tomb Raider' to avoid Angelina Jolie comparisons

Megan Fox is sick of all the Angelina Jolie comparisons. What a terrible problem to have. Fox feels that the media has to "package you and sell you somehow and sell their magazines, so everybody has to be 'the new' or 'the next' someone or something."

Megan has been offered the title role in the next "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" movie. "The offer has been on the table for a while but she's reluctantly turned it down. She's the logical choice to play Lara and she loves the character but the comparison with Angelina is too much," a source tells Showbiz Spy.

Jolie played Lara Croft in two movies, 2001's "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" and "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life" in 2003.
