Marie Osmond plans Utah funeral for son Michael Blosil

Marie Osmond's adopted son, Michael Blosil, will be laid to rest in a private memorial service in Utah on Monday (Mar. 8).

The young man, only 18, was found dead outside his apartment building in downtown Los Angeles last Friday night.

He fell 15 stories after leaping off a roof or balcony. His death is considered a suicide. He had been severely depressed and left a note describing his last acts and how lonely he felt.

Blosil's friends and family will gather in his home state of Utah to pay their last respects, Osmond's publicist Alan Nierob confirms.

Marie's family is now at her Las Vegas home.

As her supportive brother Donny Osmond told Entertainment Tonight, "As we all know, whenever there is a situation when there needs to be rallying, the Osmonds rally around each other and support each other."
