Mackenzie Phillips' new face cost $50,000. Was it worth it?
Mackenzie Phillips debuted her new face in InTouch magazine and on "Good Morning America" this week.
She paid $50,000 for Restalyne, a facial filler for wrinkles and pock marks, laser skin rejuvenating treatments, hair extensions, Botox to paralyze the muscles that cause crow's feet and frown lines, and around 36 hours of dental work including root canals and porcelain veneers.
So what do you think? Before is on the left. After is on the right. Worth every penny or a bad investment?
Mackenzie says she will continue to speak out about the decade long sexual abuse with her musician father, John Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas fame.
And about her new look, she says she knows it's corny but now her outsides match her insides. And she's happy.
Good for her. She deserves it.

I love Mac, but I thought the picture on the left was better. When was the picture on the left taken? IF it was years ago, then you should really replace it with a picture of her from Sober House. Otherwise, yikes, I don't think it looks that great yet. Maybe it is still swollen. I hope so. Love her.
It's unfortunate that she couldn't feel good enough about who she is that she felt like she needed all this surgery and treatment. Sadly, the result is not flattering.
I think the before is better and what is up with her eyes in the after picture? They look glazed over.
You certainly found the best "before" picture of her that you could and then used the worst "after" picture. Geez, what a bunch of losers you are to not even show her new smile.

$50,000.00? I remember when 50k could actually buy something worthwhile. I think she got ripped off. And I also think she should have kept her mouth closed about the "alleged" incest. She should go into intense psycho-therapy, and learn to put things like this behind her as much as possible, if they actually ever happened at all. Getting on the talk show circuit is just another SCREAM for MORE attention.

I don't blame her for trying. None of us pictured "Beauty" when we heard the name Mackenzie Phillips. plus, she's had to deal with all these extrordinarily beautiful family members, coworkers, etc...
Will these stars EVER go back to leaving nature alone? She does NOT look better in the after pic.
