Jesse James' fourth mistress won't talk. So says Gloria Allred

The fourth woman who allegedly had an affair with Jesse James won't be seeking any publicity.

So says her shrinking-violet attorney, Gloria Allred, in a small scholarly publication known as People.

"I can confirm that she has decided not to tell her story," Allred tells the magazine. "I have no other comment."

Allred, who also represents Tiger Woods' paramour Rachel Uchitel, previously said her client is a "beautiful model and businesswoman" who carried on an affair with James for several years while he was with Sandra Bullock.

While we wonder why someone who doesn't want publicity would retain the heat-seeking Allred, we also find it a little bit refreshing that Woman No. 4, whomever she may be, is trying to keep her name private. Maybe that will at least temporarily stem the flow of sordid and depressing revelations in this story.

A Dish Rag can dream, anyway.
