James Franco accepted to Yale, Ivy League diplomas make good paper planes
"He loves Yale and it is more than likely his first choice," Franco's manager, Miles Levy, told the school paper. If he accepts the offer, says Levy, he'll probably attend another school at the same time.
Before you start talking about the advantages of celebrity and how Yale rejected you and your perfect GRE score, Franco seems to have earned the acceptance. I mean he was in "Spiderman"!
No, Seriously: Franco is currently earning his MFA from Columbia University while concurrently attending NYU's gradate film program. He makes it look easy (especially when he's sleeping through class).
It also seems he has some writing chops. He has a short story published in the April issue of Esquire magazine and he has a collection of short stories titled Palo Alto coming out in October via Scribner press, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.
OK, but really, paper planes made from Ivy League diplomas do get good air.

I just love how the same one shot of him sleeping in class over and over again. Find me a college student who hasn't slept through at least one class when they're in college. Especially one's who have jobs and a massive load of coursework. I've slept through multiple classes, I will admit that right now. So I'm not going to hold ONE picture of him sleeping against him.
Excellent, Mr. Franco. I taught Shakespeare and epic literature at Yale while getting my J.D. in the Yale Law School. Yale is exactly the right place for a person without intellectual boundaries. I doubt, however, that he will be really welcomed or happy at the Yale Drama School -- just an opinion based on the old days.
