James Cameron: Glenn Beck 'is dangerous'
If remarks made at Tuesday's (March 23) junket for the "Avatar" DVD release are any indication, we just might get a James Cameron vs. Glenn Beck showdown sometime soon.It all started when Cameron was questioned about his thoughts on Beck at the junket, to which the director fired back, "Glenn Beck is a f***ing asshole. I've met him. He called me the anti-Christ, and not about 'Avatar.' He hadn't even seen 'Avatar' yet. I don't know if he has seen it."
No official word on Beck's thoughts on "Avatar" yet (although we can guess), but the FOX news host definitely had words about Cameron's 2007 documentary, "The Lost Tomb of Jesus," back when he was on CNN. The film, which questions the resurrection of Jesus, inspired Beck's following on-air comment:
"Many people believe James Cameron officially has tossed his hat in the ring today and is officially running for anti-Christ."
Well, Cameron is evidently still a bit steamed about being branded as the anti-Christ, but after taking a few moments to cool down at the junket, he made some tweaks to his initial venom-spewing reaction:
"I think, you know what, he may or may not be an a**hole, but he certainly is dangerous, and I'd love to have a dialogue with him."
And we'd love front row seats to that "dialogue."

James cameron is a tool bag. News Flash, making movies that net lots of $$ is not indicative of one's intelligence. James Cameron's comments about Glenn Beck is a case in point to teach your kids that hollywood people are not very smart.
Gives me another reason to like Cameron...Glenn Beck's purpose is so painfully obvious...he is a scary dude.
Not sure if the problem is Glenn Beck as much as it is al the weak minded people who believe he's for real. Glenn Beck is a character put on for entertainment purposes, like Stephen Colbert.
The main problem here is that there is a "Comedy Central" logo at the bottom of the screen when Colbert is on, which would hopefully give people the idea that it's a joke. Glenn Beck has a "Fox News" logo and I think too many people actually think that somehow makes him legitimate... He's an entertainer.

loved avitar to bad the movie doesn’t reflect the ideology of the director/producer. as to glenn beck, would it be an advocate of freedom is poisonous, would it be an advocate of the united states constitution is poisonous, if J Cameron had as much Americanism in him as glenn beck has I suppose he would be dangerous, and one might say it is in a right direction. I see that j Cameron is not. It appears notoriety and money lend to socialism as much as Hollywood is. where having those factors allow the little people not to touch them. it is good that they worked hard to achieve, but, if it wasn't for the glorious patriots of this country he and others like him would not have the liberty to pursue his dreams, and with comments about g. beck it would appear he would see much of your freedoms taken away from all of you citizens except of your ability to spend money on him and his craft. if that is as dangerous as glenn beck points out i guess all of us medal awarded veterans are dangerous yes, especially to all communist and Marxist and socialist that continue to want to take our freedoms from us. All of you need to read the constitutions see what this gov't is doing to it. Look at your own complacency at allowing yourself to believe that these bureaucrats continue to tell you the truth and continue to spend your hard very hard earned money not on this country but on only those few that they deem acceptable or anointed by those in power.
