Happy Birthday, Lady Gaga! Topless photo, quoting Karl Marx?
Lady Gaga -- still on her world tour -- tweeted a provocative -- on many levels -- birthday message for her "little monsters" this weekend. Her 24th birthday is Sunday, March 28.
The major buzz is that the photo looks like she might be topless. Wow, how shocking! But some people are more interested over her "communist" undercurrents.
"Last words are for fools who haven't said enough," is allegedly a quote from from communist leader Karl Marx,
64, on his deathbed in 1883. They were spoken to his housekeeper, who
asked him for his last words so she could write them down.The major buzz is that the photo looks like she might be topless. Wow, how shocking! But some people are more interested over her "communist" undercurrents.
Is there a deeper meaning or is it just Gaga being Gaga?

It's clear that Ms. Gaga is calling for the workers of the world to unite, and to collectively and democratically appropriate and reshape the conditions in which they work and live. To remake society as one ruled by the associated producers, and not by capital (the power of property by the few at the exclusion of the many to extort labor from the rest of us). That's the only sense I can make of her Tweeting.
