'General Hospital's' Anthony Geary: I was Liz Taylor's boy toy

Admittedly, we love when decades old gossip that we weren't around for the first time makes a comeback.

Take, for example, "General Hospital's" Anthony Geary, who dropped by "The Wendy Williams Show" show on Friday (March 19) to talk about still playing Luke Spencer after all these years.

Wendy brought up screen legend Elizabeth Taylor's stint on the show as Helena Cassadine and asked if Liz and Tony had been friends.

"We were. I used to never talk about my relationship with Elizabeth Taylor because I'm a gentleman and don't kiss and tell, but she did an interview a few years ago for Talk Magazine where she outed us as more than friends ... Yeah, so I don't mind telling that. I was sort of her boy toy for a couple years."

A couple of years?!?!? And he didn't manage to become Husband No. Whatever?

Geary also says that in 1983 People ran story on him that included the cover blurb -- "Admits his affair with Elizabeth Taylor was a hoax" -- even though all he had told them was that they were "just friends."

"So Elizabeth calls me and says, 'Tony? I hear you told People Magazine that we didn't sleep together. That's the worst thing that anyone has ever said about me.'"
