Elin Nordegren: Will she be a no-show at the Tiger Woods Masters?
While Elin Nordegren might have agreed to feign support for her wandering husband by moving back in their Florida home, she drew the line at showing up at Tiger Woods' return to golf at the Masters next month.Team Tiger wants Nordegren on the links to show the public she's supports him, but People reports she'd prefer to hop on a plane (a commercial airline, that is, and not her hubby's private plane) and head home.
"Elin does not want to go to the Masters and is preparing for a trip to see her family and friends in Sweden," the source tells People. "She is also being asked by Tiger to attend the Masters, even if for a half day, to look like she is interested in supporting his return to golf. But she would rather not be there."

How could Tiger ask Elin to go to the Masters? How insensitive can he be? Elin has suffered enough, already. Elin does not need to subject herself to the frenzy and circus like atmosphere that seems to accompany Tiger Woods everywhere he goes. Elin and the children have been the innocent victims in this horrid ordeal.
I don't blame her for not wanting to be there!! Good for her!

If Elin doesn't go, he can always hook-up (again) with Joslyn James. I read that she plans on being in Augusta. Whether she gets on the course or not, is another story.
Security at the masters is about the best. Plus its freakin golf if there is a heckler or anything they will throw the heckler out. If she shows up fine if she doesnt no big deal. Its not like she went to every tourney he was playing in before. Wives do stay home or do other things too.
There is no proof that Tiger has asked Elin to be at Augusta. I am sure he probably said he would love to have her with him and I truly believe it is out of trying to keep her from taking another trip which would be a step backwards in their progress. My advice to Tiger would be to sit down in front of Elin, let her know with true devotion and love that he is so sorry, that he will spend the rest of his life apologizing every day, mainly with actions. He should also ask her permission to play in the Masters. I believe he actually did, and she probably said ok, but that she would not be there. He she also tell her that as far as golf goes, he will only play for 5 more years (last year being at 39 years old) and that she can hire as many private detectives to watch him and he will pay for it. He should explain that golf is a part of his life (he has been working on this golfing dream for 32 years of his 34 year old life - has has only known her for 7) but that he will cut it short and not play past 39. He just wants to break Nicklaus's and Snead's records and perhaps surpass them as much as he can before 40, and then promise to retire completely from the spotlight and devote the rest of his life to her and the children so they can live a live in privacy. If I were Tiger, I would make her that promise. I would promise her that I would never ever let her down again (and if Tiger is truly sorry, and sets his mind to it, he always accomplishes what he sets his mind to).
Aaron, you sure do seem to know what Tiger "should" do. I mean you've basically mapped out his whole life for him. Tiger doesn't even need his own brain, he can just listen to you! Have you ever even actually met him? Or do you just always like saying what other ppl "should" do?
Show up at the Masters?

I would think that everyone who has so much time to be all up into Tiger's stuff, out side of golf,can't have to much of a life of their own,or should take more time with their own. So Tiger broke one of the 10 commandments.Let anyone of us who hasn't broken any cast the first stone. Tiger's first step is to ask God', forgiveness and repent.If Elin is going to forgive him, she has to ask for God's help, We all have our own crosses to bear. Let God,Tiger, and Elin work this out,and let's all move on with our own personal lives. Marty Mack
