David Schwimmer and Zoe Buckman are more than 'Friends'

David Schwimmer has told his girlfriend, Zoe Buckman, that he'll be there for her -- for good.

The former "Friends" star, 43, and Buckman, a 24-year-old photographer, are engaged. It will be the first marriage for both.

The two met in London in 2007 when Schwimmer was working on "Run Fatboy Run," his feature-film directorial debut (he's also directed episodes of "Friends" and "Little Britain USA") and have been together ever since.

There's no word yet on a wedding date, but we have to wonder: Will Joey, Chandler, Rachel, Monica and Phoe ... er, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow be on the guest list? (Also, note to Mr. Schwimmer: Make sure you say "Zoe" and not "Rachel" during the ceremony.)

Schwimmer is currently directing a movie with Clive Owen and Catherine Keener called "Trust."
