'Dancing With the Stars': Kate Gosselin a 'total diva'; Johnny Weir says no thanks
We already got a glimpse of Kate Gosselin's less-than-charming demeanor on her reality show, "Jon & Kate Plus 8." Now the attitude is back in full force, and the reality star has already earned the title of "total diva" on the set of "Dancing With the Stars."Gosselin is snubbing other contestants and behaving coldly to crew members, sources told the New York Post. Word of her diva-esque behavior got out, prompting Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir to pull out of talks about appearing on the show. He reportedly did not want to have to work with Gosselin.
"Kate doesn't want anything to do with other contestants," a "DWTS" source said. "While there's a lot of camaraderie among the crew and other stars including Pamela Anderson, Kate has set herself apart. ... She wants to be queen bee."
Maybe it was the special treatment Gosselin got from "DWTS" that went to her head. The show is allowing her to rehearse in Pennsylvania with her partner in a makeshift studio in her basement so that she can be near her kids.
We can see if Gosselin's performance on the dance floor is worthy of her diva behavior when "DWTS" season 10 premieres, Monday, March 22 on ABC.

I'm so glad to know that Johnny Weir was asked to be on DWTS. I hope he gets on next year and goes farther than Kate or Evan Lysacek does. He would be FANTASTIC!

Wow, you people totally need to get lives. Why do you have to pick on this woman who has done NOTHING to you in order to somehow make yourselves feel good? Unbelievable. This is no different from a mother who has to work to provide for her family, which is what she is doing. She has shared custody with their father - he will be with them on the days she has to be in LA. It's not brain surgery, people; you can figure it out if you try. Leave her alone.
This woman thinks she is a celebrity just because she did a stupid reality show & had all those kids using an unnatural means. I am sick of reality people being made rich just so you can see their "staged " personal lives. I think she is a poor excuse of a mother & a caring human being. Maybe if she wouldn't have been so domineering toward Jon--she didn't show him respect & treated him like a dog. I don't blame him for throwing in the towel.
Your "sources" need to be named and held accountable. Kate is not in the same class as these other celebs on DWTS, adn I can understand if she separates herself from their "stuff". She is focused, and there for the purpose of being a bread winner and to do something for her kids. Not so for the other celebs. It is just fun and games for them. She is really just a mom, and she represents "just moms". What an opportunity for "just moms". So, all "moms" should be supporting and rooting for her. I wish Ted Gibson would take his "extentions" and get lost. They are AWFUL! They make her look short and fat and plain. They make her face look pudgy.
