Corey Haim got 'thousands' of pills from dozens of doctors

Corey Haim had been getting massive amounts of prescription drugs from various doctors, according to the California Attorney General.

A.G. Jerry Brown is investigating a prescription drug ring and he told HLN's "Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell," that Haim was very busy obtaining various prescription drugs on a daily basis.

"How many people go to 10 or 15 or 20 doctors and then run around to 10, 12 and more pharmacies to go fill them and sometimes two different doctors in the same day?"

He described the number of drugs as "thousands of pills."

As TMZ reported, just days before Haim's death, the actor got four prescriptions from the same psychiatrist for Valium, Vicodin, Soma and haloperidol, an antipsychotic drug.
