Charlie Sheen expected to plead 'not guilty' to menacing, assault charges
Charlie Sheen is hoping his appearance in an Aspen courtroom on domestic charges lasts about two and a half minutes. Seriously."We have been told that he'll be there under 5 minutes, and that is what we anticipate," Stan Rosenfield, the "Two and a Half Men" star's publicist, told The Wrap.
Rosenfield also stated that his appearance Monday afternoon (March 15) is "strictly procedural for the sole purpose of entering a plea."
And that plea is expected to be "not guilty." The actor's in-and-out style hearing is scheduled for 1:15 PST (2:15 p.m. Aspen time).
Before the 44-year old actor distracted everyone with his news of re-entering rehab, he was in the headlines for allegedly holding a knife to his wife, Brooke Mueller, and threatening to kill her on Christmas Day in the Colorado winter resort. The actor was charged with menacing, criminal mischief and second degree assault (the latter was reduced to third degree assault on Feb. 8).
Sheen could face up to five years in prison if found guilty on all charges.
