Ben Roethlisberger photographed with accuser before alleged assault

Ben-Roethlisberger.jpgAfter being accused of sexual assault last Friday (March 5), Ben Roethlisberger might have a shred of evidence that his accuser was cozy with him -- at least long enough for someone to snap a picture.

A photo was taken of the two shortly before the alleged assault at Capital City bar in Milledgeville, Georgia reports TMZ. The Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback has his arm around the woman who accused him of then sexual assaulting her in the women's bathroom.

Other women in the bar also reportedly posed for photos with Roethlisberger before the alleged incident.

So once you take a picture with someone they can do whatever they want to you? I am sure he was a nice guy till he wasn't.

I lived in Georgia for 12 years.

I'm unaware of a law that says if I get my photo made with a pro football player it gives them the right to abuse me sexually.

CW: I really think you need to RETRACT this article, and apologize for what just may be the most idiotic thought ever expressed on this Web site.

Also, it's "Pittsburgh" not "Pittsburg."

Just another bimbo looking for a payout.

Thank you for your comments, Zap2it readers. Please note that this post does not state that just because a photograph with both the accused and accuser has surfaced, Roethlisberger is in any way innocent of the allegations. Only the facts are stated.

Hilarious how readers only read and interpret exactly what they want an article to say.

Same people standing in line for that "free" Obama Money.

@Christine -- "Ben Roethlisberger might have a shred of evidence that his accuser was cozy with him" Do you honestly not see how this statement implies that such a picture would be construed as a point in his defense? Not exactly a "fact".

@RLL & Constructive criticism, What public school system did you attend to get those READING COMPREHENSION skill sets? You pulled something out of the article that wasn't even stated or intended. You have to be the same person, because no two people could possibly get the same erratic conclusion out of that article.
@player- You are most likely 100% correct. Athletes are often stalked by women looking to cry rape just so they can get rich, because they don't have what it takes to make good money in the real world.

Ben may not have a good mug to look at it, but I doubt he has to force himself on anyone. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I do think that celebrities and professional athletes are easy targets for money hungry skanks. I hope the truth comes out and if Ben did it, he should be prosecuted. But if this is a scam to get hush money or attention, I hope she gets what she has coming.

Zap2itChristine - the line in your article that says Ben Roethlisberger "might have a shred of evidence that his accuser was cozy with him" does in fact give the slant that hanging out with a guy gives permission for assault, even though you follow the above quoted statement with "at least long enough for someone to snap a picture." The words "might have a shred of evidence" and "cozy" are not facts: they are interpretive terms. You have not stated "only" facts.

I agree with other commenters - let's hope that the truth comes out and justice is served, whatever that truth is.

@MICHELLE- The sentence "might have a shred of evidence that his accuser was cozy with him" is evidence that there was an ASSOCIATION BETWEEN THE TWO. It shows that she's not lying that she came in contact with him. NO WHERE WAS IT INTENDED THAT GAVE HIM PERMISSION, how old are you, 12? And you hope the truth comes out? Who are you to insinuate he is guilty. Celebrities are put in this position regularly. Sounds to me like you just hate men
