'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest's stalker Chidi Uzomah pleads no contest
Chidi Uzomah, the man arrested in October at the E! building carrying a three-inch knife and looking for Ryan Seacrest, has pled no contest to felony stalking, TMZ reports. A no contest plea ("nolo contendere") is not a guilty plea, but it means the defendant is not disputing the charges.Uzomah agreed to undergo a three-month psychiatric evaluation at Chino State Prison in California.
As far as jail time goes, the sentence will likely depend on whether Uzomah has prior misdemeanors or felonies on his record. Someone with priors can face up to six years in prison, but TMZ is saying Uzomah is most likely looking at two years in jail and an order to stay away from Ryan Seacrest for the next 10 years.
