'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart's awkward BAFTA acceptance speech

We love you, K-Stew. But girlfriend, that was painful to watch.
Kristen Stewart appeared at the 63rd annual British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards on Sunday, Feb. 21 to accept her Orange Rising Star award. Stewart was nominated alongside Jesse Eisenberg, Nicholas Hoult, Carey Mulligan and Tahar Rahim. Fellow nominee Carey Mulligan may not have won the Rising Star award, which is voted on by the public, but she did take home the award for Best Actress for her work in "An Education."

Can't watch. Hate awkwardness.
She looked as if she was about to cry. I know that before the award show she said she did not think she deserved the award, and that there were so many other actors there that were better than her. She never gives herself credit. She is amazing! I am happy for her, and if you watch the other speeches she gives after the award show you will see she is not akward at all.
I just wished that she was not looking down the whole time, but I understand she felt that she did not think she would get it.
Typical Kstew, that's why alot of us love her.

What is it with this chick? On screen she is barely present (no personality) and in person she is worse. Can she not function in public? Is she one of those socially inept actors who can only speak with confidence when it's written on a script for her?
I get the feeling that if she hadn't been attached to a big franchise, her career would have faded in a few years. It still may.
At least she didn't drop the award like she did before. If your a big fan of Kristen you know she doesn't like to talk to big groups of people and is often awkward in those situations. She can usually handle small one on one interviews better. I think she's great!
She was not the only one being awkward while speaking! Take a good look at some of the celeberties before you judge her! She is awesome that is why we love her!

I like Kirsten but I did not like her acceptance 'blubber'. I think she should of had a short speech prepared, after all she knew she was a nominee and had a chance of winning
