'Twilight' Edward and Bella kiss makes Top 50 classic kisses list

The steamy "Twilight" kiss between Edward and Bella is getting its due.

The kiss made the LA Times magazine's Top 50 cinematic kisses -- at No. 49. But Twihards, don't get outraged. The kisses are listed chronologically -- most recent films near the end -- not according to merit or other romantic criteria.

The chemistry in the scene is amazing with Edward (Robert Pattinson) wanting to kiss Bella (Kristen Stewart) tenderly, but still having to overcome his natural vampiric urges to, well, drink her blood.

Edward and Bella are in good company. The list starts in 1896 with "The Kiss" and also includes iconic kisses from "Gone With the Wind," "From Here to Eternity," "Lady and the Tramp," "The Godfather Part II" and "Titanic."

The list even has some of Zap2it's best kissing scenes in the rain films, including "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "Spider-Man" and "The Notebook."
