Tiger Woods' press conference: Don't expect him to say 'mistresses'
Don't expect Tiger Woods to use the word 'mistress" at his Friday (Feb. 19) press conference.
Think more along the vague lines of "indiscretions," "mistakes" and "personal failures." Also, don't expect to see Elin Nordegren standing beside Woods all Silda Spitzer-esque. According to Radaronline, Nordegren will not be in attendance.
Insiders say that Tiger's real tale will definitely not be told. Forget details. The somber and repentant pro golfer will probably read a prepared statement that apologizes to his fans, asks for forgiveness, understanding and then announce plans to play in the upcoming Masters.
Tiger's agent, Mark Steinberg tells the New York Daily News that "a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates" -- along with six hand-selected reporters -- will join Woods at 11 a.m. Friday at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
Why on earth he's even having the hand-picked reporters there is strange. It must just be for show since it's already been determined that no questions will be allowed.

Do you think Tiger can just disappear for weeks -- be rumored to be in a sex addiction clinic -- and then reappear, say he's sorry about all those indiscretions and all will be forgiven?
And will Elin Nordegren be at the press conference? Should she?

Does it really matter whether he says anything or not? He isnt the first, wont be the last and im sure he's not through womanizing. He wont be placed back in the highest regard where he was, but his golf talent wont suffer either way. so really? does it matter?
Yes Tiger can do what ever he wants.I was actually hoping he would get a divorce so he can have "fun" with as many women as he wanted..What a blast that would be ehh,but in order to save his empire..I guess not..Good luck Tiger!!
