Tiger Woods ... the TV series?

A series about a sex addict who travels the country for golf tournaments -- named Tiger -- could be coming to the small screen.  Coincidence?

Apparently so. In this case, life apparently imitates art.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, Spike TV took interest in the "Back Nine" script almost a year ago, back when Mr. Tiger Woods still had his squeaky-clean image intact. The golf-themed pilot will star John Schneider (aka Bo Duke from "The Dukes of Hazzard") as has-been pro golfer, Ronnie Barnes, and a yet-to-be-confirmed talent as his sex-addicted caddy, Tiger.

The real Tiger is rumored to be coming out of hiding to return to the links this April for the Masters Tournament. And of course we're all waiting with bated breath to find out what Woods will say at his press conference Friday morning, when he will publicly address the allegations about his messy private life.

Too bad no questions will be allowed...we'd love to know what he thinks about a sex-addicted Tiger getting a TV series.
