Taylor Swift's sour Grammy notes caused by a 'technical issue'
If you noticed a few sour notes in the Taylor Swift/Stevie Nicks duet on the Grammy Awards, you are not alone.Taylor and Stevie rehearsed their duet twice to good reviews. But on the show, there were definitely off-key moments. We weren't actually sure who sang those notes.
But Taylor Swift's record company exec -- Big Machine Records CEO Scott Borchetta admits it was her.
"We had a volume problem in the ear. So, she was concerned that she wasn't able to hear everything in the mix," Borchetta tells The Huffington Post. "That's just part of live TV. ... So you're going to have difficulties on occasion. Unfortunately, on one of the biggest stages, we did have a technical issue. She couldn't hear herself like she had in rehearsal."
But he adds: "This is not 'American Idol.' This is not a competition of getting up and seeing who can sing the highest note."
Asked why he felt the need to defend Swift, he said the criticism was "just over the top. It's that classic thing that critics do of building something up and then wanting to tear it down."

Taylor must be on top of the world cause they are all trying to knock her.
The girl is a mega star.
She's cute and sings catchy pop songs. Unfortunately, that's all she's got besides a great personality.
Personality doesn't make a superstar though. That takes an unusual talent she simply doesn't have. I don't see her walking out on a stage thirty years from now and being instantly recognized my millions of fans. Nothing personal against her and she's more talented than I'll ever be; I just don't think she has any special talent that sets her apart from the pack.
