Steven Tyler back in Aerosmith, touring this summer
With Steven Tyler announcing a return to Aerosmith, things are finally looking up for the band's fans.
Ever since Tyler injured himself by falling off a stage during a concert in South Dakota last August, Aerosmith's fate has been uncertain. The band had to cancel the rest of their summer tour, and their frontman checked himself into rehab for painkiller addiction in December.
All the while, squabbling between Tyler and the band coupled with threats of a lineup change had fans wondering if they'd seen the last of one of music industry's most enduring rock acts.
But it turns out fans won't have to wait long to see Aerosmith on
stage again. Last Thursday (Feb. 18) the band made the announcement
that their "Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock" European summer tour will
"We're coming your way and rocking your world! Look out because here we come," says guitarist Joe Perry in a video the band recently posted on their web site.
June 10 marks the start of their tour. First stop: Sweden.
