Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, Daniel Radcliffe among Top Earners in Hollywood for 2009

Vanity Fair has released the annual list of the Top Hollywood Earners. A detailed breakdown of the calculations can be found at the Vanity Fair website.

The Top 10 starts with producer/director Michael Bay at an estimated $125 million for 2009. He is followed by Steven Spielberg ($85 M), Roland Emmerich ($70 M), James Cameron ($50 M), Todd Phillips ($44 M), Daniel Radcliffe ($41 M), Ben Stiller ($40 M), Tom Hanks ($36 M), JJ Abrams ($36 M) and Jerry Bruckheimer ($35.5 M).  

The first woman on the list is "Harry Potter" franchise actress Emma Watson, at No. 14 with a cool $30 mil. The other females on the list are Cameron Diaz (No. 19), Sarah Jessica Parker (No. 24), Katherine Heigl (No. 25), Reese Witherspoon, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock (Nos. 31-34) and Kristin Stewart (No. 37). Her "Twilight" love Robert Pattinson is No. 35.

Interestingly, Nicolas Cage comes in at No. 17 with $28 million. With all the financial troubles he's had, we didn't think he would be on this list. Maybe in 2010 he should use his money to hire someone to help him with his money.

The first television star on the list is Steve Carell at No. 22, though the article explains that money made from television is not taken into account. We aren't entirely sure why TV money isn't taken into account, the article does not say -- it would put several entrants significantly higher on the list.
