Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin fire back at 'Family Guy'
As much as it pains The Dish Rag to admit we're in agreement with Sarah Palin on any issues, we're definitely on Team Palin regarding the "Family Guy" episode mocking son Trig.

But Sarah actually let her daughter, Bristol Palin, take the podium on her Facebook page to shake a firm finger (and we're not saying which one) at Seth MacFarlane.

I love family guy and I knew one of them was going to go nutty over it. Society gets butthurt over too many things now. I bet you the ones that will say i was offended prob watched it and laughed but just dont wanna be bashed for laughing at it.

I didn't find it offensive but I never knew Palin had a child with Downs Syndrome til now. I am no fan of Sarah Palin and could care less about her really but I do understand why they are upset.
Personally if I was a famous parent with a child with Downs Syndrome I would be upset and would rather have them poke fun at me rather than my kids.
However I am not famous and I have no kids so whatever happens to this, whatever. I really have no hardcore stance on this.
If the Palins want to be in the spot light, they need to take the good with bad. OR they could just go away...

Listen Sarah, if you really don't like the attention that public figures get you shouldn't have worked to become a public figure. You could have told McCain no, you could have said, “I’m sorry John, I’m not smart enough for the job and don’t really like working that much. Besides, I’d probably just quit half way through your first term. You would be better off picking a non-retarded running mate with a work ethic.â€
Bristol dear, you are the public face of the abstinence only movement. (How ironic is that?) You posed on the cover of People magazine. Those were your choices, deal with it.
Can you imagine how quickly the Palin Clan would have crumbled if they got the treatment the Clintons got during the 90s?
I'll give the Palins some advice; if you stop pushing yourselves into the news with book tours and hate speeches to tea-baggers, people will eventually leave you alone. If the Palins really don't want the attention they should stop begging for it.
I have a younger sister with DS and i was not offended by FG at all. I am offended by the Palins response to the media, yet giving Rush Limbaugh a pass? I'm sorry, but they get no respect from me or my family. And Sara Palin wants to be our next president? God help us all..
It is Fox whom she basicly works for ha. I am i guess i guess a republican in many ways but i love Family guy it is just stupid fun. There is a gay baby trying to take over the world for goodness sakes.
Maybe instead of focusing on Family Guy and Rush the Jerk,
Sara and Bristol should take care of their own kids. Maybe if Sara had done that she wouldn't have a daughter who got knocked up at 16. I know thats harsh but its the truth.
She should practice what she praches instead of preaching empty words. Infact Bristol should do the same thing.
A Republican family who embraces the old-fashioned morals and values of non-effective abstinence, in light of a daughter who was stupid enough to have sex without protection, gets no free pass points in any facet of media parody. Family Guy could do a lot worse. The Palins need to get over it.
