'Real World D.C.' Mike Manning is single: 'Valentine's Day is gonna suck'

We know it's hard to believe since on "Real World D.C.," Mike Manning is definitely not hurting for admirers. But when Zap2it talked with him about his Valentine's Day plans, we were shocked to hear he doesn't have any.

"It's gonna suck," says Mike. "I don't have a valentine." Obviously, his D.C. guy didn't stick around.

In fact, Mike is on a plane coming back from Boston Sunday (Feb. 14). 

"I've been doing a lot of appearances to promote the show," explains Mike. "I've just been so busy right now that I don't even have time to date anybody."

The show's most experienced bisexual (D.C. roomie, Emily Schromm, is a bi newbie compared to Mike) finds himself single for the first time in five years, but it sounds like he's ready to mingle again.

"I had a serious girlfriend, then I had a serious boyfriend," says the Denver native. "I haven't been single in so long, so I'm finally going to take advantage of being single and going out and meeting people."

While it may seem on the MTV show that the outspoken activist is fairly confident in most areas of his life, he says that when it comes to meeting potential valentines, he's clueless.

"It's the kid in me coming out," he explains. "I guess he decides to rear his ugly head every time I'm getting flirted with."

Something tells us this this lonely Valentine streak won't last long. Any volunteers?
