Original '90210'-er Ian Ziering gets engaged, beats Valentine's Day rush

Ian Ziering, 45, is officially off the market. The actor best known for his work on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Dancing with the Stars" has revealed online that he's engaged.

Gossip mongers cleverly figured this out after the actor changed his Facebook status from "being in a relationship" to "engaged." What did we do before Facebook and Twitter?

"Her name is Erin Kristine Ludwig. She's a nurse," he emailed People. "We're planning a spring wedding and we've been together since Labor Day 2009."

Since September? Wow. That's like a whole five months. Sure, they probably complete each other's sentences and call each other every hour. But we still hope it's a long engagement. And we would say that about anyone who was engaged after five months.
