Oh Whitney Houston, we'll 'always love you' but what's going on in Australia?
Whitney Houston (or as some friends of Zap2it affectionately call her "Aunt Whitna Nippa Housta") appeared to struggle through her opening night of her Australian tour.
Audiences were shocked by her inability to sing Monday night at the Brisbane Entertainment Center.
According to reports,
she seemed breathless and exhausted, took several extended breaks,
coughed often, left the stage, carried a towel to mop her face, and
brought her brother, Gary Houston, up on stage to sing her vocals when
she could not. Though contrary to the Brisbane buzz claiming Houston was ill and had disappointed fans down under, People reports that the diva's concert in Japan was A-OK.
"She looked like she was having so much fun," says a concertgoer to the publication. "She was in great shape and kept up with her dancers!"

she struggles a bit... but i thought it sounded good and it was a crowd pleaser! :D go Whitney!
Gary sings a part that he always does during the intermission when she changes backstage. He NEVER sings her parts, stop lying. I was there. Whitney has always had a profusive sweating issue since she started in the 80's, not new. She ALWAYS had a white towl since her first tour and uses it all the time. How is this new?? She always takes that break in IWALY before the climax. She's been doing this since 4ever! You peeps are nutcakes or born 2 days ago.
Considering where Whitney has been the last few years and where she's at now I will continue to rally behind her and wish the best for her. There's no positive outcome in bringing someone down.

Shame on Elizabeth and the rest of the media that continue to spew negativity and bring people down. Lets focus in on other things in this world that need attention.
come on people. Elizabeth just reported something that actually happened. That is NOT bringing people down. I must say, I am a big Whitney fan, but this tape was kind of - well off.
It's obvious that most of the comments made about Whitney Houston's performances are being made by non-singers. You try singing every night with the type of material Whitney sings and then you'll understand why she doesn't always sound like a record when she sings.
It's sad to say but Whitney can no longer sing on a good night. I can say I have seen her preform for years and attended 27 concerts and there is no question she has lost her ability to sing and keep her audience captured. She really started to lose her voice about 14 years ago and she has been on a down word spiral ever since. Take a look at her aunt Dione Warwick, the same thing happened to her voice as she aged. If you really have followed her courier you know she stinks and its time to face it! Don't spend one dollar on a ticket in Australia or anywhere else unless you want to feel sorry for her and find your self walking out of her show.
i love her got 4 of her cds its a shame about her voice
it wasn't that bad.
