Megan McCain, Stephen Colbert slam Sarah Palin's 'retarded' double standard
Sarah Palin criticized Rahm Emanuel for his use of the word "retarded." But she let Rush Limbaugh slide on his, saying that he was simply using "satire."
Well, both Megan McCain and Stephen Colbert disagree and they're calling Sarah out. McCain slammed Palin's partisan hypocrisy on Monday when she guest hosted on "The View." Tuesday night (Feb. 9), Comedy Central's Colbert joined in the mix, taking it to the next level.
After mocking Palin's embarrassing hand crib notes at the Tea Party convention, Colbert moved on to Palin's reaction to Emanuel's use of the word "retarded."
After playing the clip of Limbaugh's "satire," Colbert took the opportunity to call Palin a "f-----g retard." Colbert also surmised that perhaps a notes on her other hand: read "Retard = sometimes funny."

After a year and a half of exposure to this virulently toxic presence, the question on the table is: In our lifetime, has there ever been a worse human being in American politics than Sarah Palin? For all the morons and criminals and bigots we've been subjected to, has there been anyone else who has combined all of the fetid qualities -- the proud ignorance, the sadistic viciousness, the shameless hypocrisy, the arrogant laziness, the congenital dishonesty, the unctuous sanctimony, the bilious resentment, and whichever others I'm forgetting for the moment -- that this morals-free harridan so relentlessly displays? (Not to mention that atonal bray with which she communicates it all.)
Talk amongst yourselves.
The answer is no. There hasn't.
She's likely tied for first in a hotly-contested match. But she is beyond intolerable. I have a hard time believing she really exists--it seems like she is some sort of fictional, parodic character. I can't believe people buy her line.
She is fake and as opportunistic as i've ever seen. HYPOCRITICAL AS THEY COME.
She is not a fake. She is a Christian woman. She is a conservative. She is popular among many who are not radical leftists. Who are all of you to judge her? you might as well cool your jets.
She will be around a long, long time!
Whenever i meet someone who professes to be a Palin supporter, i just have to shake my head and wonder about them. truly.
DEO, you used lots of big words to put down Sarah Palin. You must be an elitist.
@Carol Gorman
I am a Christian man. I am a conservative.
I believe she IS a fake and is NOT a Christian (you got the woman part right). Why? DEO at the top put it wonderfully.
Dear Carol Gorman,
You're right, Sarah Palin is not a fake. That she truly believes what she says and that people like you share her beliefs is a testament to the fact that America hasn't changed much since the Civil War.
Conservatism = Backwards Thinking.
Wake up and realize that the world has more people in that just white folks like you.
Deborah
Do you hear that sound? That is the entire Down syndrome community walking away from Sarah Palin. Spread the word to end the word! Totally unacceptable and politically opportunistic.
