Lindsay Lohan's Christ complex lands her in hot holy water
Lindsay Lohan is in bubbling hot holy water. Lilo's cover for the French magazine, Purple, has come under fire by Christian groups.The picture shows Lohan as a Christ-like figure, draped in a white Ungaro dress, with her arms outstretched, as if on a cross.
Did we mention she's accessorized with a crown of thorns?
Bill Donohue, head of the Catholic League, told Politics Daily: "Not only is the pose inappropriate, the timing is offensive."
Catholicism's most sacred season begins next week-- Ash Wednesday -- with the start of Lent, the period of penitence and abstinence that leads up to Easter.
The Dish Rag has to imagine that a religious holiday involving penitence and abstinence is not necessarily marked on LiLo's calendar.

I think it's silly if anyone is upset by this. How many people have made a parody of Christ? Get over it, people.
I think it's ridiculous also. What would anybody expect from people that aren't Christian or probably not Christians. Considering her track record, making a graven image is the least of her problems. In actuality, I find it amusing that she would mock Christ by agreeing to the pose and outfit. It's good to know that Christianity is on the top of Lilo's list of cover worthy mocking material. The world hates us. Praise God.
This is not stupid to be upset with her she should not bring any religion into anyhting. obviously if she would have thought before doing things then she might have known that this is very offensive, but hey i guess we can just say she doesnt know any better right? ...no thats stupid that she would even do somthing like that to make people hate her even more than they alreay do.
