Lady Gaga's acoustic 'Telephone' tribute to Alexander McQueen

Lady Gaga dedicated her Brit Award performance of "Telephone" Tuesday (Feb. 16) night to her late fashion friend, designer Alexander McQueen, who hanged himself in his closet last week.

"We miss you so bad ... lee," she sang during the first few moments of the song, then paused to softly explain, "This is for Alexander McQueen." She also performed "Dance in the Dark" wearing a sheer lace bodysuit designed by him.

Lady Gaga arrived at the awards wearing another one of his amazing creations -- a white organza triple tiered cone-shaped gown that made her look like an angel on top of a Christmas tree.

It was a grand -- but sad -- night for Gaga. Although she was clearly missing her friend, she won three awards for best international female artist, best international breakthrough act and best international album for "The Fame."

Last week, she tweeted this touching photo of she and Alexander.
