Heidi Montag's mom looked at her like she was 'a circus freak'
Heidi Montag is shocked and horrified by the way her mother reacted to her brand new face.
Yeah, well, imagine how shocked and horrified her poor mom, Darlene Egelhoff, was to not be able to recognize her own daughter.
"I was nervous, but also excited." Montag tells People about the first meeting with her mom since her ten plastic surgeries. "I never thought in my wildest dreams she was going to react the way she did."
Heidi describes her mom's initial response: "She was looking at me almost like a zoo animal... like I was a circus freak."
The reunion was filmed for "The Hills" so we can all see the look on her mom's face. And that's one episode we definitely will not miss.
Montag, whose aptly named album "Superficial" is not exactly wowing the music industry, has no regrets about what she's had done.
"I wanted to be the most beautiful, inside and out. It's part of being a pop star," she says.
Yeah, about that pop star career... Heidi, you may want to formulate a Plan B.
