'Dear John's' Amanda Seyfried on her Vanity Fair shoot: 'I could hardly even stand up'
Amanda Seyfried looked gorgeous -- if very cold -- in a royal blue Giorgio Armani frock at LA's "Dear John" premiere Monday, Feb. 1.
While her character in the romantic Nicholas Sparks story stays hopeful about love overcoming distance, Amanda doesn't sounds too optimistic about her real-life long distance relationship.
"I'm in it. I've been in it for a while," she told us about her relationship with "Mamma Mia!" co-star Dominic Cooper. "It seems to be working for now but I am young so you never know." And she's so not recommending the LD situation. "In my accounts, it always seems to suck."
About her inclusion in the new Vanity Fair cover story on Hollywood's new It Girls, she reveals, "I was so ill that day, I could hardly even stand up. The one day that I was that ill in the last 10 years..."
Her secret: "Makeup."
She also notes the "coincidence" that she and her "Mean Girls" friend Rachel McAdams have both done Nicolas Sparks movies, "The Notebook" and Dear John."
"I was so happy that they cast me in this," she admits. "I have seen 'The Notebook' far too many times."

She dated Jesse Marchant (singer + small parts in Ugly Betty, CSI etc.) not Jesse Spencer (sexy House hottie!). How could you mix those two up? :P
