Bill Cosby is not dead. Just another Internet hoax.
The Dish Rag's heart sunk this Saturday morning (Feb. 6) to find 'Bill Cosby dead' on the Google Hot Trends list.
Thank heavens, it's not true.
People are indeed searching words like "bill cosby dead 2010," "bill cosby", "bill cosby died," "bill cosby dies," "bill cosby death."
But Bill Cosby is not dead and the news is just a Internet hoax. Not sure what to be sick of more the death hoaxes or having to debunk the rumors on this blog. Sigh.
The comedian, actor, author, television producer, musician and activist is 72 and still going strong and is probably not even aware that fans are freaking over faux reports of his death.
Cosby is scheduled to perform at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Stamford, CT March 13th.
Bill Cosby's last tweet on Twitter was February 2nd. He tweeted:
Did you know I have an iTunes play list? Well I do!
Who sits around thinking up which celebs should be dead, tweeting or posting the death reports? In a word, get a life, people.
Other recent faux death posts have included Johnny Depp, Miley Cyrus, George Clooney and Taylor Lautner.
