When it comes to Melinda Duckett, Nancy Grace is camera shy

CNN talking head Nancy Grace is not one to keep her opinions to herself, but when it comes to having to answer for her words she'd rather not do it on camera, thankyouverymuch.In 2006, a 21-year-old Florida woman, Melinda Duckett, was interviewed by Nancy about her missing 2-year-old son.
Nancy didn't like the answers Melinda was giving her and accused the woman of being evasive and trying to hide something.
The day after the interview -- hours before it was scheduled to air -- Melinda shot and killed herself.
Her family is suing Grace for wrongful death, saying that the interview and Nancy's "intentional infliction of emotional distress" drove her to take her own life.
Now, Grace -- a former prosecutor who contends that guilt was what led Melinda to kill herself -- doesn't want there to be cameras present when she gives her deposition in the case.
One of the Duckett family's attorneys, Kara Skarupo, tells ABCNews.com that if the judge does allow the deposition to be filmed, Grace's lawyers "want us to sign a blood pact that it won't get out."
The judge is expected to make his ruling on Tuesday (Jan. 26).
UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that the judge has ruled that Nancy Grace's deposition will be videotaped. However, the tape can't be released to anyone -- including the press -- without the court's permission.

Sorry that Melinda took her life but she had no business going on Nancy's Show if she was going to be deceptive and take up time that could be used for others who truly want to find loved ones. The heat was getting to Melinda as more info was coming out about her. You'd have to be pretty thick in the head to believe her story.
Nancy Grace is not a journalist, she's a sensationalist, and is laughing all the way to the bank. She doesn't need guests on the show. All she needs is a mirror since she cuts them off and answers all of her questions herself. I don't know if Melinda was guilty or not, but I can't imagine too many guests feel very good about themselves after she steamrolls them to boost her ratings. Add the public humiliation and portrayal of guilt to the loss of your son and other life issues, especially to someone so young, and guess what you get.
I hope Melinda's family wins and CNN finally gets rid of that narcissistic loud-mouth.
I LOVE NANCY GRACE!!!! That Melinda Duckett killed her two year old. Put his car seat on Ebay the day after he went "missing". She should have given the boy to his father. He wanted the child but instead she would rather kill him!!! And she could have just hung up the phone with Nancy. Thank the Heavens above for killing her self!!!!
