'Twilight's' Robert Pattinson on 'Remember Me': Tyler feels like 'a very specific character'

The "Remember Me" page on Facebook has launched an Ask Rob segment, wherein star Robert Pattinson answers fan questions. The first one is Kelly Kuebler, who asks, "This type of role seems different from your previous roles. What was it that attracted you to this role/script?"
Initially, I remember reading the script and thinking... um... I like the flow of the dialogue and stuff. It was just different. It seems like in a lot of ways main characters in other movies, when there is a young guy who is the lead he always seems like a vessel, [he] always [has] to be so naive and ridiculously innocent so the audience can feel that with [him] in the story. Tyler didn't feel like that. He was a very specific character.
"Remember Me" hits theaters March 12, 2010. Are you getting excited?!?
